i have difficulty respirating

it was barely 19 °F this morning, but not windy. whatever ice was there yesterday was there today, however, and will no doubt be there tomorrow. it is cold.

i'm tired from a long day of working up input files for the lake pepin model, porting it over to the public domain version of ECOMSED from the earlier code. having to dig through both versions of the code, to figure out when and why does it read this data, and what values might i use? and now just trying to run it, and getting various errors, and the traceback telling me the problem occurs in a read statement that it shouldn't even be executing, because there are no diffuser discharge boundary conditions, and i told the model so. so what to do? more digging and sifting...
